Instead of just focusing on learning steps, a conceptual approach to dance encourages students to "enjoy, understand, appreciate, and support dance throughout their lives. They become not only dancers, but also collaborative workers, critical and creative problem solvers, articulate communicators, and healthy, involved members of the community" (Gilbert, 1992).
This approach is built into the very foundation of our teaching. 💫 You can trust that in our studio, young dancers are learning the skills they need to find success outside of the classroom.

Well, we don't just teach our students a bunch of dance steps. With the help of Leap 'N Learn, our students learn to become "collaborative workers, critical and creative problem solvers, articulate communicators, and healthy, involved members of the community" (Gilbert, 1992).
