How to Support Neurodivergent Dancers

Do you teach Autistic and/or ADHD dancers?

Are you noticing different levels of engagement, attention, and responsivity in your students?

If it feels like you lack the knowledge, skills, or confidence when it comes to helping students who think, process, relate, and communicate a little differently to their peers, you're not alone.

I'm sharing the experiences, strategies, and insights I've learned over the years as an Autistic and ADHD dancer, teacher, studio owner, and dance education researcher.

Learn about neurodivergence and how it contributes to different ways of thinking, learning, communicating, feeling, and interacting. Unpack how it may appear in your dance classes, and discover simple tweaks and swaps that make a world of difference when it comes to supporting Autistic and/or ADHD dancers and creating safer, more inclusive dance spaces.

🇦🇺 7 May, 10am-12pm (AEST)*
