Ask Miss Beverly Anything
Miss Beverly will be hosting a Q&A session to cover everything and anything about teaching dance and managing a dance studio. From classroom management and behavioural issues, to technique and musicality, creative movement, or those “I’m asking students to do abc and they’re giving me xyz” moments. Neurodivergence and dance classes – a parent’s perspective
Ever feel little lost when it comes to supporting autistic and/or ADHD students, or students with other neurodivergences and disabilities? Do you want to provide an environment where all students feel welcomed and encouraged but maybe a bit unsure on how to do it?
Bethany Woollatt is a disability and inclusion researcher and a dance parent of a child with disabilities and delays. In this session you’ll hear her experience of their search for a dance school for their child. Find out what worked for them, what didn’t work, and the importance of communication and collaboration between families and teachers.
